Now, I feel like we've said this before - however, A&A pride themselves on not only creating high quality works for the Community, but also supporting the Community where, and when possible!

During the recent Townsville floods, in which we to fell subject to the thick silt and fast rising waters - leaving our house (much like many others) dirty and damaged; we found ourselves quickly surrounded and supported by those in our Community. Dry clothes, warm drinks (and cold) were offered, clean-ups became a social event where you'd make new comrades, and an overwhelming amount of thoughts, love, and prayers came through the text-line.

We thought it was only fair to return such support.

So, on Day #3 of the Floods we hooked up our boat and made a dash for the inner suburbs. We arrived early on scene to find houses waist deep in flood water, and still to hear high-tide was due in number of hours.

We weren't alone.. moments after our 2nd trip in to shore ( an Intersection of road in front of a Petrol Station - being the only dry piece of land left ), many more people had rushed to rescue those from homes, in their boats. Soon there were around 50 Civilian boats, and many Army Tanks and 'Ducks'.

It was clear at that moment just how resilient the people of North Queensland can be, and how strong the Community really is.

We could not be more proud to stand with such strong individuals and consider ourselves to be part of the North Queensland Community!

We wish to spread thanks to all who helped on the day, and to those who continue to help, despite going through a tough time themselves.

To All of Townsville, your courage and strength is remarkable. We will re-build, and We are here to help you!
